Mr. Pablo Rodriguez,
I would like to provide nuances and clarifications following your public outing, concerning the year 1 budget, presented on October 23 by the Parti Québécois and its leader, who we so aptly call PSPP.
You highlight the fact that the referendum was a source of divisions, of squabbles which lasted over time. I would like to answer you kindly, with all respect, that this was not the case around me. Well mobilized in this 1995 referendum when I was in my early twenties, I had the opportunity to meet people from near or far who did not share my opinion. We were able to discuss and argue with respect, as is generally done in Quebec, even today.
Your personal experience may be different from mine. Personally, I remember above all respect and calm after this heartbreaking defeat, caused by actions of the No camp which will be revealed to us shortly. The Parti Québécois is working hard to make this happen.
Best regards,
