The sale of firefighters’, postmen’s and garbage collectors’ calendars is a ritual in the run-up to the end-of-year holidays. Some scammers pretend to be them. In Lunéville (Meurthe-et-Moselle), so-called firefighters sell a very animal calendar, failing to show fire soldiers. In Éguilles (Bouches-du-Rhône), this are fake municipal agents who sell a so-called garbage collectors’ calendar. Scammers exposed on social networks. Teenagers steal 300 euros from a nonagenarian
In Boé (Lot-et-Garonne), a nonagenarian opened her doors to two teenagers who were selling calendars, officially to finance their school trip. They followed him into the house and stole 300 euros. As soon as they left, the two young people continued their thefts in the town, notably from a couple who reported them to the municipal police. She managed to call them out.
