A television series derived from the animated film with rather explicit content Sausage Party will see the light of day, Amazon announced on Wednesday.

A few cast members from the 2016 comedy will reprise their roles in this eight-episode series: Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz and Edward Norton. Actors Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell and Yassir Lester are also part of the project which should be broadcast in 2024 on Prime.
