While a wave of mysterious stings sows fear in festive gatherings, GHB continues to claim victims… How to protect yourself?

Originally, GHB is a molecule used in anesthesia, in intensive care units. But it has also become a narcotic. It suffices to administer a few colorless, odorless and tasteless drops to a person who then loses all notion of resistance. Until now, the aggressors diluted a few drops in the drinks, but for a few weeks, the doubt settles: would they use injections to submit their victims?

In the party world, psychosis sets in

Uncommon, the technique worries in the world of the night, and psychosis sets in. We fear the return of the famous “rape drug”, which appeared in the 1990s and was used by rapists or burglars because the victims rendered unconscious do not remember anything.

Hundreds of complaints have been filed throughout France, even if until now, toxicological analyzes have not revealed the presence of GHB: it is an ephemeral drug whose traces disappear very quickly from the body. In the event of submission, the victim must therefore file a complaint very quickly so that the police trigger the analyzes less than twelve hours after the fact. Investigation into a drug that could well spoil the party this summer.
