Panthers beat Blues in shootout
Sam Reinhart and Anton Lundell scored in the shootout and the Panthers came from behind to win 4-3 over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday.
Maxim Mamin hit the target twice in regulation and Reinhart added a goal for the Panthers. Lucas Carlsson and Lundell both had two assists.
Sergei Bobrovsky turned back 22 shots for the Florida squad and stopped Ryan O’Reilly to end the shootout.
Brandon Saad, Logan Brown and Jake Walman have deceived Bobrovsky’s vigilance in regular time. O’Reilly had two goals for his own.
Ville Husso made 48 saves for the Blues, which is a career high.
The Panthers trailed 4-1 against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday and 3-0 against the Buffalo Sabers on Thursday, but they won both encounters. Against the Blues, they trailed three times, but tied on every opportunity.
