(Witchekan Lake First Nation) Saskatchewan RCMP have issued a province-wide alert for several armed suspects at the Witchekan Lake First Nation, northwest of Saskatoon.

RCMP say there are reports of gunshots in the area.
Residents are urged to stay indoors and lock their doors.
RCMP say the suspects may be in a mid-2000s dark red Ford Mustang vehicle.
RCMP say the shooting is unrelated to Sunday’s series of stabbing attacks in the James Smith Cree Nation and village of Weldon, northeast of Saskatoon. Two suspects in these stabbing attacks are still at large.
