Sarthe placed on orange alert to storms

Sarthe is one of six departments placed on orange alert by Météo France this Sunday, May 15. The alert is in effect from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.: gusts of wind ranging from 80 to 100 km/hexpected as well as hail and rain. Between 20 and 40 mm of precipitation in less than an hour according to Météo France.

Closed parks and gardens in Le Mans

In response, the town hall of Le Mans announces that the city’s parks, gardens and cemeteries will be closed.
