After being pardoned on Saturday by Daniel Luque after a historic bullfight during the Dax feria, the Sardinero bull finally returned home to Palma del Rio in Spain. Sardinero arrived Tuesday, August 16 in the afternoon at the Quinta farm (in Andalusia), after a day of travel. The bull is doing very well and recovering slowlyaccording to Eric Darrière, the president of the Dacquoise bullfighting commission.
If Sardinero was pardoned, it’s becausehe showed great nobility during the bullfight. From now on, he will spend the rest of his days in the meadows and will serve as a breeding male. But before, he will have to pass tests to check if his offspring, his first calves, have the same qualities as him to be roasted in an arena.
