Sara Tounesi is 26 years old, of Italian origin, she joined Romagnat in August 2020. Wishing to carry out an experience abroad, Sara Tounesi decided to leave Italy during the Covid.
I decided to leave, to leave my house, my whole life because I am an international player. I play in the Italian national team and I wanted to increase my rugby level.

Sara Tounesi takes care of the young people of the Cité des talents. She helps with homework and supervision of students, the afternoons before or after training.
She is very keen on homework help because sport is not for life. She herself enrolled in college to continue her studies in addition to sport and therefore finds herself in this double project, study + sports.
Motivating others motivates me, because we’re actually doing the same thing.
And as Sara said “It’s not just sport in life!”
Rugby
Rugby is a sport of integration because it is a team sport. Everyone is accepted without judgment or criticism.
We all make mistakes and you have to make mistakes to go far. You have to go through it to succeed in rugby as in life.
