In Montreal, several leisure activities will not be available for Labour Day. This is particularly the case for the museums of the Espace pour la vie de Montréal, which includes the Biodôme, the Biosphère, the Insectarium, the Botanical Garden and the Planetarium.
Most museums will be open to the public, as will most cinemas.
Some libraries, arenas and swimming pools will change their hours. The City recommends checking its website before traveling. In Quebec City, sports facilities will be open only if activities are planned. All libraries in the national capital will be closed.
Sites administered by Parks Canada will be accessible free of charge throughout Quebec during normal hours.
