Santa Teresa Festival | Vulgar Machins, Men I Trust and CKay headlining

One of the first festivals to launch the season, Santa Teresa, unveils its program on Friday: Vulgaires Machins, Men I Trust, CKay, Milk & Bone, Bon Enfant, TOBi and dozens of others will take the stage in Sainte-Thérèse du May 12-14.

7e Santa Teresa festival provides three days of “big shows”, on its main stage, as well as many free shows, on another stage in its city center and at its chapel. For its main guests, the event showcases local talent, with Vulgaires Machins and Men I Trust, as well as international music, with the presence of Nigerian artist CKay. The young singer-songwriter and producer is the interpreter of the popular song Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah), which was the first African song to top one billion streams on Spotify last year. He will be part of the evening dedicated to urban rhythms, on Saturday, in the company of TOBi, Emme Beko, LaF and Peet.

As for Les Vulgaires Machins, they will launch the festivities with a rock evening during which Les Shirley and Bon Enfant will also play. The Quebec group Men I Trust, whose international reputation is well established, will close the Santa Teresa festival on Sunday, during the evening featuring pop music. Ariane Roy, Clay & Friends and Milk & Bone will also be there that evening.

The chapel of Sainte-Thérèse will host concerts given by Velours Velours, Anatole, Lysandre, Allô Fantôme, Carla Chanelle and Pure Carrière. Finally, even the bars of the city will come alive to the rhythm of the Santa Teresa festival. Several artists will give their first festival performance in May on the occasion of Santa Teresa, which wishes to encourage the next generation of musicians.
