(San Francisco) Outfielder Michael Conforto has accepted a two-year, $36 million — nearly $49 million Canadian — offer from the San Francisco Giants, a deal that includes an escape clause after the first season, the IAAF has learned. The Giants should have a talented outfield in 2023. Mitch Haniger agreed to a three-year, $43.5 million contract earlier this month and the versatile Mike Yastrzemski will be back.
