The verdict is in. Saturday, December 11, was held in Yaoundé, capital of Cameroon, the elective General Assembly of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot). Former international striker and Indomitable Lions legend Samuel Eto’o has been elected as the institution’s new president. Aged 40, he defeated the outgoing president, Seidou Mbombo Njoya.
As a reminder, the retired player had made the happiness of FC Barcelona (2004-2009) and Inter (2009-2011). He now wears the costume of World Cup ambassador to Qatar in 2022.
