On May 7, 2018, the music industry certainly lost one of its finest icons. At only 57 years old, Maurane breathed her last in Schaerbeek. A sudden disappearance that has given rise to countless rumors. But after several weeks of investigation, the Brussels public prosecutor’s office has revealed its conclusions as to the circumstances of his death. According to justice, the mother of Lou Villafranca would have died of accidental causes.
Moreover, in the absence of an offence, the file was placed without further action. In the process, the trail of suicide was also dismissed.
