On Wednesday, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) updated a recall issued on April 29 of 97 Elite brand chocolate products due to possible Salmonella contamination.
Products sold nationwide through April 29 should not be consumed. The complete list is available on this site:

Salmonella bacteria are responsible for salmonellosis, a disease that usually manifests as severe food poisoning, with symptoms including fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea .
Foods contaminated with this bacterium show no visible or olfactory spoilage, the CFIA said.
“The label information could appear in English or Hebrew,” the CFIA added.
This recall is the result of a recall in another country and there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
