End of series for Max Verstappen. The Red Bull driver, who remained on ten Grand Prix victories in a row, started from 11th place, Sunday September 17, in Singapore, and was only able to come back six to finish 5th in a Grand Prix won by Carlos Sainz (Ferrari). The Spaniard, who started in pole position, signed his second career victory after excellent strategic choices.
He is ahead of Lando Norris (McLaren) and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) on the podium, while George Russell had to retire on the second lap. Verstappen’s teammate, Sergio Perez, finished 8th. Among the French, Pierre Gasly (Alpine) finished in 6th position, Esteban Ocon retired.
