(Sainte-Thérèse) Three people had to be hospitalized following a fight that occurred on the night of Friday to Saturday near a bar in Sainte-Thérèse, in the Laurentians.
The incident took place shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday, according to the Régie intermunicipale de police Thérèse-Blainville, which opened an investigation.
According to the first information made public, a conflict between several individuals would have taken place, and when the police arrived, three people were discovered injured “by what appears to be a knife”, the police force said in a press release.
The injured people were transported to hospitals in the region, but their lives are not in danger.
“Investigators are currently working to meet witnesses and collect evidence in order to establish the exact circumstances of the event,” added the Régie intermunicipale de police Thérèse-Blainville.
A crime scene perimeter was erected in front of the licensed establishment and the forensic identification service was to go on site on Saturday to carry out the analysis of the scene.
No arrests were made on Saturday morning and the police investigation is continuing in this case.
