Saint-Leonard | Three men in their twenties injured in armed attack

Three men in their twenties suffered significant injuries caused by a sharp object during an event that occurred Sunday evening in the borough of Saint-Léonard, in Montreal.


Around 11:15 p.m., the three men presented themselves at a Montreal hospital.

After being notified, investigators from the Montreal City Police Service were able to determine that the men had been injured during an event that occurred near Jean-Talon Est and Abancourt streets, in Saint-Léonard.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding this incident are unknown. Investigative procedures should enable us to find out more. Investigators will notably check whether surveillance cameras were able to capture images of the scene.

According to Montreal police, the three men suffered significant injuries, but their lives are not threatened. Two of the injured are aged 24, while the third is aged 25.

The SPVM reported no arrests in this case Monday morning. The investigation continues.
