A restaurant in Saint-Léonard was targeted by a Molotov cocktail overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday. The Montreal police are investigating this event, which did not cause any injuries.

Shattered windows and a multitude of debris on the ground: the small neighborhood restaurant had suffered some damage the day after the fire which occurred at the intersection of rue Jean-Talon Est and rue Fontecelle.
Firefighters were notified of a fire in a business around 4 a.m. The fire was quickly brought under control and no injuries were reported. Residents living in accommodation above the restaurant were quickly evacuated.
An incendiary object was found near the window of the building.
The arson section of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is currently on site to clarify the circumstances of this event.
