Three vehicles were damaged by an arson which was started during the night from Saturday to Sunday in the Saint-Laurent city district.
The event occurred on rue Claude-Henri-Grignon near rue Jean-Gascon around 2:45 a.m. Witnesses saw “at least one suspect before the event leaving the scene quickly, which suggests a fire criminal,” indicated Jean-Pierre Brabant, media relations officer for the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM).
The file was transferred to the arson section of the SPVM. Investigators will travel in the morning to try to understand the exact circumstances surrounding this arson. There were no injuries, Mr. Brabant said.
