Details about his alleged sexual assault of a young basketball player have come to light, but a publication ban prevents the media from reporting them at this stage of the legal process.
The accused’s brother notably testified before Judge Yves Paradis.
Three counts were brought against Robert Luu last week, including that of sexual assault on a person under the age of 16, for events which allegedly occurred between 2014 and 2017.
His release investigation will continue Wednesday morning.
The investigation into the release of Daniel Lacasse, also accused for events of a sexual nature that allegedly took place between 2010 and 2012, will be held on Thursday.
As for Charles-Xavier Boislard, a third coach from Saint-Laurent high school who is facing similar charges, he was released last week after agreeing to respect several conditions, in particular not to not be in contact with people under the age of 16. He will return to court on March 24.
