(Montreal) At least one shot was fired early Friday morning at a building in a mainly industrial sector in the northwest of Montreal, without causing any apparent injuries.
When they arrived on the scene, patrol officers from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) noted at least one firearm projectile impact on the building, but no suspect was on the scene.
The police were notified of the misdeed around 1:20 a.m. by a call to the 911 emergency telephone exchange. The building is located near the intersection of Boulevard Lebeau and Rue Benjamin-Hudon, in the borough of Saint- Lawrence.
A security perimeter was erected near the building to allow investigators, members of the canine squad and SPVM forensic identification technicians to begin their work.
No arrests had been reported by the end of the night.
