Saint-Jérôme: the police seek to identify a man found dead in April

The Saint-Jérôme Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man found dead in the Rivière du Nord near Rue de Martigny last April.

In order to help them identify the victim found on April 10, 2022, the authorities called on a portrait painter from the Sûreté du Québec.

The victim is said to be a white man measuring approximately 5’11” (1.80 m) and weighing nearly 196 lbs (89.1 kg). He had short graying brown hair and a gray beard and mustache. The color of his eyes remains undetermined.

Scars on the forehead, nose and neck (from an old tracheotomy) were observed on the body of the victim who did not have a tattoo.

When found, the man was wearing five long-sleeved shirts and two pairs of socks.
