(Saint-Jérôme) The pedestrian who was the victim of a hit-and-run in Saint-Jérôme, in the Laurentians, on the night of Friday to Saturday, has died, the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) announced on Sunday.
The 29-year-old man was found unconscious at around 3:30 a.m. in the ramp to Route 117 North, near the 116e avenue.
There has been no arrest in this case for the moment, said Sergeant Stéphane Tremblay, a spokesperson for the SQ.
Police officers from the Major Crime Investigation Department are also still trying to identify the suspect vehicle.
