Emergency services reported a fatal collision early Friday evening involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in Saint-Hyacinthe. The event occurred on Route 137, near Boulevard Laframboise, at the intersection of Avenue Allaire.
According to information from the Sûreté du Québec, the driver of the vehicle did not see the lady while she was crossing Boulevard Laframboise.
The sixty-year-old was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

One lane of Route 137 in Saint-Hyacinthe is closed to traffic.
