A good Samaritan had his pick-up stolen while trying to help people after an accident in Saint-Eustache, in the Laurentians, on Sunday evening.
The accident between two vehicles occurred around 11 p.m. on Dubois Street near Antoine-Séguin Boulevard and did not cause any injuries.
A witness who was in a pick-up stopped to lend assistance, before having his vehicle stolen.
Alerted, the Police Department of the City of Saint-Eustache quickly found the stolen vehicle, but failed to arrest the suspect who is still running.
“We have no details about the suspect,” said a spokeswoman for the Saint-Eustache police department.
