The Cauldron can turn green with pleasure. At home, AS Saint-Etienne beat FC Metz (2-1) in the first leg of the L1/L2 play-offs, Thursday May 30. Two years after its relegation, the Forez club, third in Ligue 2, is taking an option to join the elite, before the return match scheduled for Sunday (5 p.m.) in Lorraine.
