“The Coastal Prosecutor’s Office manages to arrest an alleged culprit of the murder of the Canadian [Victor Masson] in Puerto Escondido”, relayed the local media Imagine Puerto.

Victor Masson, passing through Mexico with his girlfriend, was murdered in mid-May after an altercation with locals in a restaurant in Puerto Escondido, according to the attorney general of the state of Oaxaca.

The tragic events would therefore have occurred after a skirmish with a group of four individuals, two men and two women, in relation to the payment of the bill later that night. While the first suspect has been arrested, investigators are still trying to identify the three acolytes and determine their involvement in the crime.
