A person was found dead in a residence in Alma, in the Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean region, on Thursday. The suspicious death has the appearance of a murder, estimates the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
The investigation continued on Friday, to determine the circumstances of the death that occurred on rue Gagné, in Alma.
The victim’s body was found around 7 p.m. Thursday. He was still inside the home on Friday afternoon. He will be transported to a laboratory in order to be formally identified, and to establish the time and cause of his death.
The crime scene is analyzed by forensic identity technicians, in collaboration with forensic and forensic technicians, says Stéphane Tremblay, spokesperson for the SQ.
The police also questioned the neighborhood in connection with this event.
At the time of publication, no suspect has been apprehended in this case.
