Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean | A teenager sank in the Ashuapmushuan River in Saint-Félicien

(Saint-Félicien) A teenager is wanted after falling into the Ashuapmushuan River, in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, on Thursday.


He would have fallen into the falls of the river while he was walking nearby, explains the spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec, Béatrice Dorsainville.

The emergency services were called around 3:15 p.m. on the Saint-Eusèbe road, in Saint-Félicien. The police are on site with a boat as well as the firefighters. Divers will also be deployed.

The Ashuapmushuan River flows into Lake Saint-Jean.
