A 60-year-old was arrested after fleeing from police and resisting arrest while he was in the potentially intoxicated Adam’s suit at the wheel of his vehicle.

It was a citizen who contacted the authorities around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday. The man was then completely naked in his vehicle, still moving, in the opposite direction on Saguenay Boulevard, in Arvida.
When he was stopped by the police, the individual tried to escape in his vehicle. A short police chase “at very low speed” followed. The man was only traveling 50 km / h.
“You could say we escorted him. He himself went to the Arvida police station and we just had to pick him up in front of the establishment, ”explains Sergeant Stéphane Pellerin, of the Saguenay Police Department (SPS).
The fact of being in his simplest device did not, however, prevent the man from resisting his arrest. He could therefore face charges of assaulting a peace officer.
Furthermore, the SPS had reason to believe that the 60-year-old was under the influence of drugs. An assessment officer was therefore called to the scene and the individual underwent various tests in the morning, Saturday.
The 62-year-old was not known to the police.
