sadder than ever, Michel Drucker talks about his grief

At the start of the school year, in a few weeks, Michel Drucker will switch from France 2 at France 3. The presenter, who will soon be celebrating his 80th birthday, will host a new program every Sunday at 1.30 p.m., with “more room for humor”.

As the recovery approached, Dany Saval’s husband was asked about his morale and his health. “It’s the first time I’m going to come back to school without anxiety, when we experienced these health problems, there is a before and an after. I came close to disaster, I should be disabled, diminished. I don’t I wasn’t sure I could go back to my job. Today, it’s off again for a long time!”he said in the columns of Free lunch recalling that he has “had the Covid-19 in July, but it lasted a few days, without gravity”. More “in shape” than ever the presenter talked about his plans.

“I was offered to be one of the faces of the 2024 Olympic Games, because I am the only survivor of the Tokyo Games in 1964. My career will be 60 years old! We will also celebrate, with Les Années Champs-Élysées, the 40th anniversary of this program with two prime times on France 3″he explained before making a revelation. “Nobody knows it yet, but Laurent Ruquier will present a special Les Enfants de la télé for my 80th birthday on September 11”.

During this interview he couldn’t help but talk about his many famous friends who left. We necessarily think of Claude François, Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour or even Johnny Hallyday to name but a few. “My album of memories is a cemetery. The number of people I have known, loved, introduced and who are no longer there, it’s incredible. I find myself a little bit alone”dropped the uncle of Marie Drucker. “Whole sections of my life have disappeared. Not many of us have known this job in 1964 and still do it”.
