Radical activists decided that to make their point, they needed to carry out acts of sabotage to delay the process of felling trees on Northvolt land.
To save the trees, they put steel bars and nails in the trunks of the said trees.
To save the trees, they decided to endanger the physical integrity, even the lives of the workers who will eventually have to cut down these trees, whether for Northvolt or for any other project in the future.

Clear manifesto
These vandals believe they have “given weapons to the forest so that it can defend itself”. Moreover, in their manifesto published on the internet, they openly call for the sabotage of equipment, the blocking of construction sites and the harassment of elected officials “in the pay of the industry”. This is blatantly a call to commit criminal acts and should be treated as such.
The radical environmental movement should get involved: they have been campaigning for several years for the decarbonization of the economy and the electrification of transport. Do they know that to do this, electric battery factories will have to be created? Do they think that the green shift in our economy will be achieved through magic wands and thinking?

Hypocrites
They can wrap themselves in the scarf of virtue, defend the tree and the shrub, the reality is that they sabotage promising initiatives to fight climate change, not just here, but globally.
One wonders if they are sincere when they call themselves environmental activists. It seems like they are angry that they no longer have a monopoly on concern and sensitivity to climate change. It must be believed that they do not want this to work and are doing everything to derail it.
It must be said that this is a very vocal minority, which takes up too much space and constitutes far too significant an obstacle in the development, particularly sustainable, of our economy. Moreover, this minority is often the one who appropriates the concept of social acceptability to derail important, urgent and necessary projects, whether manufacturing or real estate.
