At least eight people were killed and 20 others injured by Russian strikes on the night of Thursday April 18 to Friday April 19 in the Dnipropetrovsk region, in southern Ukraine, authorities announced. Several sites were affected.

“A five-story building is on fire in Dnipro. It is partially destroyed. There could be people under the rubble”, wrote regional governor Sergei Lysak on his Telegram account. According to the Ministry of the Interior,They people were killed and sixteen others injured in Dnipro.

In the Synelnykové district, southeast of Dnipro, “more than ten houses were damaged” And “six people died including children aged six and eight”, Minister Igor Klymenko said on Telegram. In the city of Dnipro, capital of the region, he added.

In Russia, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced Friday morning that 25 projectiles had been shot down while heading towards this town near the Ukrainian border.
