About 20 National Hockey League (NHL) teams are reportedly interested in Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) forward Andrei Kuzmenko.

Moreover, the 26-year-old winger and his representatives reportedly intend to hold talks with North American outfits over the next week.
Kuzmenko was never drafted into the NHL and is coming off the best campaign of his KHL career. With SKA Saint Petersburg, the right-hander hit the target 20 times and provided 33 assists for 53 points in just 45 games. He also had seven goals and as many assists for 14 points in 14 Russian playoff games.
On the international stage, Kuzmenko participated in the 2016 World Junior Championship. He had been shut out of the scoresheet in seven games.
