(Washington) The United States called on Friday, with a touch of irony, Russian President Vladimir Putin to recognize the reality of the conflict in Ukraine and to withdraw his troops after his use of the word “war”, proscribed in Russia, during of a press conference.

“In the end, after 300 days, Putin called the war by name,” he added. “As the next step in recognizing reality, we urge him to end this war by withdrawing his troops from Ukraine.”
