Like every evening, the 11 p.m. news news takes a look at the news broadcast by European television channels. It’s Eurozapping on Tuesday October 8.

In Italy, a Russian arrest warrant was ordered against two RAI journalists. Stefania Battistini and her cameraman are the first journalists to enter Kursk with Ukrainian forces. Now wanted like 14 of their colleagues, all arrested in absentia by a court in Kursk. Italy is offended and demands that the right to information be respected. They risk 5 years in prison in Russia if they are arrested.

In Great Britain, 13 out of 17 water suppliers will have to reimburse their customers 200 million euros. This is the 4th year in a row that they have been fined. “Companies do not take their responsibilities and too often blame the weather”, denounces David Black, director of water regulation Ofwat. For their part, companies are demanding more resources to modernize an aging network. In Germany, the suspect in Maddie’s murder was acquitted in another case. The court was not able to establish the facts with certainty, said Brunswick court spokeswoman Lisa Rust.
