In this diplomatic note, consulted by the American daily, Moscow warns that the sending by Westerners of arms “more sensitive” to Ukraine would put“oil on the fire”. The warning comes as US President Joe Biden gave the green light on Wednesday to massive new military aid to Ukraine, with heavier equipment than has been delivered so far.

These new American deliveries will include some of the equipment “very effective that we have already delivered” to Ukraine, but also “new abilities”including “artillery systems” and “armored personnel carriers”said the US executive.

“What the Russians are telling us privately is precisely what we are telling the world publicly, that the massive aid we are providing to our Ukrainian partners is proving remarkably effective.”reacted a senior American official, quoted by the Washington Post.
