This Monday morning, the sirens are sounding in Belgorod, Russia. On videos, we can see the corps of Russian volunteers, a unit integrated into the Ukrainian army. The group’s spokesperson claims the current action. “It’s time to end the Kremlin dictatorship. Thank you very much to all those who support us, who send us donations. Your support is what reminds us every day of our final goal: in red square, be brave and don’t be afraid because we are coming home. Russia will be free”he says.
Civilians are being evacuated
An evacuation of civilians is said to be underway in Gaïvoron. Information denied by the governor of the region before going back on his words in the evening. “Most of the population has left the area. Those who cannot leave with their own means of transport, we help them. Those who can leave with their own means”, says the governor of the Belgorod region. Belgorod Oblast is placed on the Ukrainian border.
