For several days, the major capitals have been mobilizing. Today, Saturday March 5, demonstrators gathered in Paris against the war and the Russian president. The isolation of Russia on the international scene is a reality which does not make the head of the Kremlin tremble.
“Free Ukraine”, the slogan now resounds in the four corners of the world, Saturday, March 5. From Japan to Portugal, voices are unanimous in support of Ukraine. In Paris, thousands of people gathered this afternoon to the sound of the Ukrainian anthem and against the Russian president. “It’s a horror, it’s a crime against humanity“, claims a protester.
On the other side, Vladimir Putin is more isolated than ever internationally. He stages himself in his country surrounded by civilians and air hostesses, cup of tea in hand. But his speech is still just as radical. The Russian president does not hesitate to point out that any country intervening in the conflict would cross the red line. Last Wednesday, according to a UN vote, only four countries support Russia in its war and 35 abstain. But diplomatic relations do not stop there.
