In recent months, the capital of Ukraine has been largely spared from the conflict. But, on Wednesday February 7, Russia reminded the Ukrainians that kyiv still remained targeted. At 6 a.m., a residential building lost several of its residents. Debris from a Russian missile shot down by the Ukrainian army fell on the building, causing a fire. Some were trapped by the flames. Nearly 40 people were injured during this attack. The survivors were treated by rescuers in a gymnasium.
44 missiles and 20 explosive drones
According to the Ukrainian army, Russia launched a total of 44 missiles and 20 explosive drones across the country on February 7 alone. A Ukrainian man also lost his life in Mykolaiv (Ukraine), where around twenty houses were destroyed. Moscow claims to have only targeted military targets.
