Russia carried out Friday, February 10 in the morning a “massive attack” with missiles and kamikaze drones, “touching” several energy sites in Ukraine, the Ukrainian military said. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia fired “six Kalibr cruise missiles”, “up to 35 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles over the Kharkiv and Zaporizhia regions”and used “seven Shahed drones”. “The enemy has struck the cities and essential infrastructure of Ukraine”, she said in a statement. Zelensky in Europe yesterday. The Europeans have so far refused to commit to the aircraft requested by Ukraine. The Ukrainian head of state, however, mentioned “positive signals”at the end of his European visit. “We want to get these planes that we need and there are agreements which (…) are not public”he assured during a press conference, without further details.

The President of the European Council wants maximum support for Ukraine. Charles Michel, called on the 27 Member States of the European Union on Thursday to provide “maximum support” to Ukraine and to send “ammunition, artillery, missiles, vehicles, defense systems”. “It’s time not to tremble”, he insisted during a press conference with Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Zelensky thanks Europe and calls on it to speed up. “Thank you for doing more. We must go faster than our attacker”asked the Ukrainian president during a speech in front of the European Parliament. “We defend ourselves, we defend you. (…) If Ukraine falls, your way of life disappears”, he warned. The elected officials cheered him on for a long time.
