Writer Margaret Atwood and actor Jim Carrey can no longer go to Russia.
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Monday the names of 100 other Canadians who can no longer travel to Russia, in retaliation for sanctions imposed by Canada.
The ministry statement says writer Margaret Atwood, actor Jim Carrey and KGB historian Amy Knight are on the new list.
These three people and the 97 others, who are mostly linked to Ukrainian organizations, have been refused entry because of their involvement in the “formation of the aggressive anti-Russian course [du Canada] “, indicates the ministry.
