A conflict between two pedestrians and a motorist would have degenerated in the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie district, around 4 a.m., on the night of Friday to Saturday. At the corner of Clark and Beaubien streets, the car allegedly ran into a 38-year-old man and a 36-year-old man. The latter was seriously injured, but is now in stable condition in the hospital, said Caroline Chèvrefils, spokesperson for the SPVM. We don’t fear for the life of the other victim.
The driver, a 34-year-old man, must be met by the police at the investigation center, according to Caroline Chèvrefils. The scene is protected and the investigators are trying to elucidate the circumstances surrounding the event.
