(Rosemère) An investigation is underway to clarify the circumstances surrounding shots fired in a residential area of Rosemère, late Tuesday, on the north shore of Montreal.

The police met with several witnesses from the area on Wednesday.
The collaboration of the Sûreté du Québec was also requested to proceed with the examination of the scene.
According to the Régie intermunicipale de police Thérèse-De Blainville (RIPTB), the shots, which were fired around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, targeted a residence. It was a call to 911 that alerted the police.
The exact place where the event occurred was not specified, but no one was injured, said the police service.
