The retailer RONA announced Monday the appointment of J. P. Towner to the position of president and CEO.
Mr. Towner joined RONA in October 2023 as Chief Financial Officer. He has already worked at Dollarama and Pomerleau as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr Towner replaces Andrew Iacobucci who took over the home improvement business in June last year.

RONA indicated that Mr. Iacobucci is no longer part of the organization.
The company, whose head office is in Boucherville, in Montérégie, has a network of 425 corporate and affiliated stores under the RONA+, RONA, Réno-Dépôt and Dick’s Lumber brands.
