End of suspense. The list of 42 players selected by Fabien Galthié to compete in the autumn tour with the XV of France was unveiled on Monday, October 17, by the French Rugby Federation (FFR).

For the three matches of the Blues against Australia, South Africa and Japan, on November 5, 12 and 20, the French coach had to do without several executives, including full-back Melvyn Jaminet (Toulouse), pillars Cyril Baille (Toulouse) and Demba Bamba (Lyon), the third line François Cros (Toulouse) or the winger Gabin Villière (Toulon).

On the other hand, Fabien Galthié chose to call up Toulouse fly-half Romain Ntamack, who has still not returned to competition after contracting an ankle injury in early September. Three ghosts are also worth mentioning in his list: Lyon second-row Killian Geraci, Montpellier full-back Anthony Bouthier and Clermont winger Alivereti Raka, currently the top try scorer in the Top 14.

Finally, seven players who have still not celebrated their first selection with the XV of France have been called up. The pillars of La Rochelle Reda Wardi, the Bordelais Pablo Uberti (centre) and Romain Buros (back), the third line of Pau Jordan Joseph, or the Lyon winger Ethan Dumortier could thus celebrate their first international cap.
