“roller dancing” is making a comeback

Four little wheels to get away from it all. In the United States, roller skating is returning to the forefront, with the “roller dancing”, from the beaches of California to the theaters of New York. Two Americans, rollerblading fans for 27 years, regularly skate in front of their home. Together, the two brothers prepared a choreography, filmed by one of their friends. The two men are perfectly in sync, with 1980s music blaring.

“We remind them of their childhood”

In two years, the two brothers have gained almost a million subscribers on social networks. Some of their productions even reach 30 million views. “I think people like us because we remind them of their childhood”, confides one of the two men. Like them, thousands of amateurs and professionals now share their best moves on social networks, enough to push many adults to take up roller dancing.
