Rod Stewart needs a marquee to welcome his whole family this Christmas

Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster humorously assured they would need a marquee to be able to celebrate Christmas with their “huge” family.

The TV personality admitted there wasn’t enough space in their home in the English county of Essex for all of her children and grandchildren for the festive season. “We’re having such a huge family Christmas that Rod has been talking about buying a marquee just for the dining table,” Penny Lancaster told HELLO!.

The rock legend has eight children with five wives and is now a grandfather to three grandchildren. The couple did not reveal which of their children would visit them and their sons Alistair, 18, and Aiden, 12.

After Christmas, the Maggie May singer and the Loose Women presenter will travel to Scotland to celebrate Hogmanay on December 31. “We’ve never done Hogmanay, so this will be our first in Scotland,” he said. There will be whiskey galore. »

Now 78, Rod Stewart says he still feels energetic and agile as the new year approaches. “I don’t feel my age, I feel good,” he exclaimed. I work out a lot and I look fantastic. »
