(Laval) Alex Belzile hit the target on a power play in overtime and the Laval Rocket beat the Toronto Marlies 5-4 on Thursday night.

Posted at the mouth of the net, Belzile jumped on a return throw and lodged the disc in the top corner to offer victory to his team.
Jean-Sébastien Dea, Louie Belpedio, Gabriel Bourque and Brandon Gignac also scored for the Rocket (38-26-7)
Xavier Ouellet, captain of the Rocket, participated in three goals. Cayden Primeau gave up four times on 34 shots.
Joey Anderson had two goals and an assist for the Marlies (37-30-4). Curtis Douglas and Bobby McMann added a goal each.
Michael Hutchinson saved 39 pucks in front of the Toronto net.
The Marlies led 4-3 midway through the third period when Gignac forced overtime 12:08 into the game.
This victory for the Rocket comes in a way to avenge the 5-4 loss in overtime suffered Wednesday at the hands of the Marlies.
